Google Reviews for Small Business – Can you remember the last time you were searching for that fancy restaurant to impress your significant other half on Valentine’s day..? I do…hahaha
The first thing you do is reach into your pocket, smile at your iPhone X™ and magically faceID™ unlocks it, you quickly shout “Hey Siri™” or if you are like me, madly punch into the Google Search “Fancy Restaurants Adelaide” and boom a huge list of results appears on your screen based on your current location. (provided your location services is activated)
You pause for a moment to quickly glance over the results, (time isn’t on your side as Valentine’s day is tomorrow :S) – you have no idea which one to choose and regret leaving it to the last minute – you are instantly put on the spot to make a quick decision, things considered are how close the restaurant is and also vaguely trying to remember all those recommendations from your trusty mates or family members… However, you also notice some results have little yellow stars with numbers next to them, what is this you ask yourself…? Feeling adventurous and somewhat desperate you click on the restaurant with the highest number. You are instantly greeted with the restaurant’s essential information such as address, phone numbers, opening hours and even some photos but in particular, you are interested in the “Review Summary” where you can read other peoples recent reviews and experiences. This newly discovered feature is amazing, you read every single review and check out every photo, you feel like a superhero and quickly call the restaurant and make a reservation for two…phew! Thanks, Google you have just saved my day!
