Apple iOS 10 – The world’s most advanced mobile operating system.
Apple recently released the new iPhone 7 & 7+ together with the latest iOS 10 update, which is jammed packed with cool new features, some which are noticeable straight away and others hidden away.
These are some of our favourite picks…
1) pre-installed apps – Finally, iOS 10 allows the user to remove most of those pesky unwanted “pre-installed” apps, you can now say goodbye to the “not used folder” – Thank you Apple.
(messages/safari/health/clock can’t be removed)
2) emoji – who doesn’t love emoji/icons when sending sms/iMessage’s, 100+ new emojo’s have been added and current designs have been updated with a more colourful appearance, and certain emojis when press & held offer several colour variations.
3) iMessage – is probably our favourite… so many choices and options when sending a sms/iMessage now, making them more personal and super fun (you might end up spending more time checking out all the effects than sending the message itself or in my case I have spammed my wife’s iphone, testing them out 😉
i) “Send with effect” – allow your message to be sent as invisible ink, gentle, loud or slam, swiping to the right allows the option of screen effects – this option sends your messages with animated ‘floating balloons’, ‘confetti’, ‘lasers’, ‘fireworks’, ‘shooting star’.
ii) “Write it yourself” – text messages will be sent in you own writing, your friends will see it animate, just like writing on paper.
iii) “Access App store” – within iMessage to share content, send animated gif’s, or even challenge a friend to a game of tic tac toe.
